Lisa Whitfield Masters in Veterinary Medicine (Distinction) Bachelor of Veterinary Science (2009)
Lisa has over 14 years experience in the Veterinary profession. During this time she has gained a wealth of experience working with all of the common production animal species in New Zealand. She has completed a Masters degree in Veterinary Medicine, written a number of scientific papers and writes regularly for the New Zealand Dairy Exporter.
She has also immersed herself in Dairy Farming, working fulltime as a dairy assistant for 3 seasons from 2019-2022. This farming experience has allowed her to develop a very practical side to her veterinary service.
Over the last 8 years she has built up extensive experience helping to address mastitis and milk quality issues in dairy cattle. She is Fonterra accredited to provide mastitis investigations. In partnership with Jolanda, she has developed a simple and low cost milk culture system to allow farms to take control of mastitis on the farm.
Jolanda Amoore
Jolanda has joined LWFVS to provide technical assistance to our service.
She has over 20 years of management experience in dairy farming. She is passionate about animal health, and has an extensive practical farming skillset.
